Homework

Spellings and times tables will be set weekly. Children will also have reading books and a reading record to practise at home and they will have an English and maths homework that will be set on a Friday and due in the following Friday.

Our first main topic will be The Vikings and we will be linking a lot of our learning to this topic.

In maths we will be learning about place value before moving onto addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Our English unit will be based on The Chronicles of Narnia and we will be producing a non - chronological text before we write a narrative based on the story.
