Visitors to School

Visitors

We welcome all visitors to school but our first priority is keeping our amazing children safe.

The school was built a long time ago - before cars and so our driveway is very narrow. We only have limited parking and so we ask that any visitors to school park on the road. This is to help you too as it is very hard to manoeuvre in the car park!  If you do choose to use the car park please be aware that for safety reasons the car park is locked from 8.30-9.15am and 3.00-3.30pm. You will not be allowed to enter or leave during this time.

If you are visiting for the day then you are welcome to use the car park as long as you park before 8.30am and leave after 3.30pm. If we know you are coming we can make sure there is a space.

We love to show off our school to visitors but please be aware that you will be escorted around the building. We will ask to see your ID and DBS on arrival and if you do not have one you will not be allowed to be on your own at any point.  We will refuse entry if we believe there is a safeguarding risk.  We also encourage our children to challenge visitors if they do not know who they are.

Mobile Phones

For our children's safety you can only use your mobile phone in the staffroom or an office. If a child is present you must not have your mobile phone out at any time.
