Our class story is.....
We have been learning new vocabulary in our English this week. Today we practised our sentences using expression and actions.
We have been very busy in maths over the last few weeks.
Our focus is number and place value. We have been using different maths equipment such as ten frames and base ten to represent different numbers.
Our topic this term is plants. We made our very own cress heads.
Over the week we observed and kept a diary to see what changes occurred. We had lots of fun making this and watching them grow.
In our plants topic we are learning about different types of plants and their anatomy’s.
Parts of a plant
In the forest the children had to create their own flowers using natural materials. The children discussed the different parts of their plants and described their functions.
The children were able to show the different parts of a plant.
