Well done to the year 3/4 mixed football team, you made us super proud ⚽️
Our Y5/6 Football Team played on Friday night. We played in a tournament against a few other schools and even managed to score a goal. Mrs Elder said we were amazing!
Rossendale Marathon Challenge
On Monday 20th July we are launching the 'Rossendale Marathon Challenge' and relaunching the 'Rossendale Virtual Mile', the challenges will run throughout the holidays and finish on the 30th August.
The marathon challenge is for pupils to aim to cover at least the distance of a marathon over the summer holidays.
The virtual mile will reward the fastest times per age group but also reward pupils that make the biggest improvements. So pupils can enter the time they ran in our last virtual mile (or at the beginning of the holidays if they didn't take part last time) and then their fastest time over the summer holidays, those in each age group with the biggest improvements will receive prizes.
