Reward trip to the Park

CAFOD Big Lent Walk

We enjoyed our Big Walk to the tunnels in Waterfoot, all to raise money for CAFOD.

Walk into Rawtenstall

Our brave Year Six children undertook the challenge of walking into Rawtenstall from School and then back again.  We set out on a blustery Thursday morning and climbed o’er hill and dale, through tunnels and rainstorms 😁 We then stopped for lunch at Do-Dah’s Cafe in Rawtenstall. We had an amazing dinner of pizza and chips before setting off back home.  Eagles Class you were amazing!

Maths Outdoor Learning

We constructed leaf Venn diagrams and stopped at the bus stop to end the timetable.

Campfire Evening

Eagles class enjoyed an evening of fun team-building activities and den building before having tea around a roaring fire. We then sang songs and toasted marshmallows for s’mores and other exciting sweet treats. Our parents came to join us and they also enjoyed toasting marshmallows too!

Our Nature Walk

Eagles went on a walk around our local community. We enjoyed looking at the local features and discussed how these may change as our walks progress through the year.

Remembrance Service

Eagles class walked down to the Peace Garden to take part in a Remembrance service with the Deputy Mayor and Councillor and the local community. They led us in prayer and readings and singing. They were extremely respectful and were excellent representatives of our school.
