PTA

At St Joseph’s, we have an active Parents’ and Teachers’ Assosciation (PTA) who do an amazing amount of fundraising to help improve the school!

Past events have included a ‘Valentine’s Cafe’, Easter Disco and an American-Themed Summer Fair.  They have raised a huge amount of money so a huge ‘thank you’ goes to everyone who was involved! Everyone is welcome to join so please look out for details of the next meeting.

The money raised never goes to waste! So far, the PTA has helped to buy:

  • A large screen and projector for the school hall
  • A range of playground equipment

We our currently recruiting new members for the PTA, as it can’t run without them! All parents are most welcome to attend any meeting, just turn up!

NEXT MEETING: TBC

How else can I help school?

There are lots of things you can do to help St Joseph’s!

  • Help in class by listening to children read (subject to DBS check)
  • Join the PTA
  • Offering to donate resources that may be useful, for example cardboard/wood/material for DT
  • Register your child for Free School Meals, even if your child wishes to bring a packed lunch. The school’s ‘Pupil Premium’ funding is related to this.
  • Tell people all the good things about our school! Complete the Parent View section of the Ofsted website.
  • Can you offer a talent or skill? Would the children be interested in what you do? Let us know!
