Yellow Class

Welcome to the Yellow Class page, here you will find updates of what we have been up to in class and some useful links.

We are Yellow Class

Miss Gooding is our teacher and Miss Clawson is in our class to offer help and support. We also have Miss Goodwin and Miss Young to support us on certain days.

We are so excited about what this year holds and we have already made a start on some very exciting topics. We are working hard on becoming more independent and taking responsibility for our learning.

Homework

Children will complete one piece of homework a week from the grid plus a piece of Maths homework. Homework books will be sent home on Friday and homework will be due the following Thursday but can be handed in as soon as it is completed.

Reading books

We aim to swap reading books every day, whether your child has read their book or not, please bring it in so we can read with them in school.

P.E

PE is every Wednesday afternoon, please leave PE kits in school where possible and we will send them home at the end of each term.

Library Books

Each child in Yellow Class will be taken to our school library on a Tuesday and will able to choose a book to keep in their tray.

Assemblies

Starting from Friday 8th September there will be a weekly celebration assembly for the whole school at 9:10 and we would love it if you could attend.

To ensure a smooth transition at the beginning of the day there will be a member of staff on the door to address any concerns. If you would like to speak to a member of staff at the end of the day please wait until all the children have been collected to ensure all children are delivered to parents safely. If you feel you would like to make an appointment to speak to Mr McManus please do so at the school office.
