Purple Class

Welcome to Purple Class!

This year, our teacher is Miss Moore and there are 28 of us.

Here you will find some useful links, pictures of all our hard work and us having lots of fun learning.

Please drop by regularly to see what we are learning about in class each half term.

P.E

All children will be taking part in P.E, please have a P.E kit in school. P.E for Purple Class will be on Wednesday and Thursday.

Reading Books

The children in Purple Class will be given a reading book and we will change these books as often as possible. Please make sure that your child has their reading book in school daily.

Library Books

Each child in Purple Class will be taken to our school library on a Tuesday and will able to choose a book to take home. Please make sure that the library book is returned the following week so that it can be swapped for a new book. If the library book is lost or not returned to school there will be a charge of £5 to replace the missing book.

Homework

There will be homework set for the children on a Friday, please return the homework to school on the following Friday. The homework set will relate to our current class topics and will be at an appropriate level but your support will be much appreciated and will help with your child’s confidence.

Uniform

Please ensure that all uniform is labelled clearly with your child’s name and that girl’s hair is tied up.

Assemblies

Starting from Friday 16th September there will be a weekly celebration assembly for the whole school at 9:10 and we would love it if you could attend.

To ensure a smooth transition at the beginning of the day there will be a member of staff on the door to address any concerns. If you would like to speak to a member of staff at the end of the day please wait until all the children have been collected to ensure all children are delivered to parents safely. If you feel you would like to make an appointment to speak to Miss Moore, please do so at the school office.
